As some of you might know, the preview art is mine and it was submitted with a small list of what I hate about myself.
This is kinda similar. I wrote this one night when I was really frustrated with myself, for the things I've done. I was so bogged down with how I felt about myself and what a terrible person I am and all that emoness. I decided to put it all down on my blog, which no one reads anyway so I felt safe admitting how royally I fail at being a christian, at being a human being... Then I realized that all Christians, because we ARE human after all, fail and fall short of the perfection we try to make ourselves live up to. We (meaning ALL of us, not just Christians) can try all we want, but we will NEVER be perfect. It is just our nature to do terrible things that will screw up our lives, hurt other people, and ultimately hurt ourselves. The second section was after I realized this. The bolded text was what I needed to remind myself that God would reply to my Emoing, and underneath is my response. I'm posting this here for a reason. That reason is that I trust all of you enough to not flame me for believing what I believe, or saying it in my own art. I want you all to know what's going on in my life, and this is it. This is my insecurites, my shame, my issues laid out for the world ( or at least the tiny part of it that actually knows of my existence) to see. |
